Ready For Halloweenby vestanpanceComment: IMHO a sigle source of artifical light doesn't mean lack of light. This is hazy because of that, and the ear lobes with earrings and the left side neck showing gives away the whole idea of a monsters face. I would not recommend posting an image that is out of focus. I would first and foremost make always sure i have clarity of focus. |

effulgenceby nbortonComment: Wonderful use of the single ilumination source technique. I'm not sure it had to be B&W, but it depends on the color of light you used, and it's intensity required to provide enough color. Good composition and cropping. |

Lit upby GotchaComment: This is a fun portrait that makes you smile, which in itself is always a great achievement. Good work. |

Nobody Caresby RichiComment: Very handsome composition. I would also have tried to avoid the excess light on the top of the head, in order to be able to contrast the image a little more, without burning the hair. Out of the challenge you may want to get rid of the wall contact on the lower right to make it cleaner. |

Feeling Blueby Melanie7179Comment: You achieved a seductive silky texture with a very alluring color composition. Very elegant and dreamy. Lovely work. |

Dinner Timeby JEMComment: Very challenging. I assume you used a flash. I know it would be complicated, but the way nature photographers capture night-life is through a stroboscope, or a presence activated ilumination lamp, and a fixed automatic trigger camera, avoiding the burning effects of a flash bulb. Excellent capture. |
