This is a decent photograph, surely it could be improved in some ways but I don't think that matters. It is more than good enough and with this title it is a slap in the face. It raises questions about how things are now, October 2004.

There is a lot to think about in this photograph. The family, the heritage, the future, dignity and so on. Composition could be improved and the lighting is rather flat, but should a photograph be dragged down because of that if it has so many other qualities? I don't think so. This entry makes me think, makes me want to know more about the subject and it raises questions. I have no idea what your intentions were but I feel there is a person holding the camera who has a lot to show to the rest of us.

Very strong entry. The combination of a photograph and title is perfect and leaves a wide open space for interpretation. The lighting and viewpoint fits the subject.
