Tree Rippeningby OneSweetSinComment: Great idea - but there is so much sun on the apple that it washes out the colors at this exposure. |

Rain Forrestby dirkjan_denelzenComment: This image is definitely an excellent choice for this challenge. This gives me a feeling of being in a rain forest. However, it feels somewhat over exposed - too bright top center. |

Natural fractal 2by rhipsterComment: Lovely rich colors here - nice and sharp - lighting is excellent. And i really like how the naturall lines lead your eye through the photo! Very nice work! |

Waterfallby RudyC310Comment: I like your concept here and the beautiful greens you captured here. But my feeling is too much of the phot is blurred. |

Aborigineby StevePaxComment: I like your concept here -with your wooden man peeking out through the foliage. I feel like it would be a stronger picture if you had also gotten the leaf in the upper left more sharply focused. It is such a prominent feature in the photo that it is distracting. |

Under Assaultby traserComment: Love your picture of the copper beetle (I think that is what they are called.) Great detail and well composed. I like your choice of depth of field - your bug is nicely focused and the rest nicely blurs out. However, I think this photo is more focused on the bug than the botany -not meeting the challenge very well. |

Match Makerby toddheadComment: This is a lovely macro. You have great detail on the bee and lovely focus on the center of the flower. However, I feel like the focal point of the picture doesn't match the challenge. |

Reclamationby s2fraserComment: Hit return accidentally - I'll try again. You've got hot spots on your leaves in the foreground and your sky is washed out indicating that this was overexposed. I have found forest shots with greens work better underexposed - makes the greens deeper and richer. Forest pictures also work better on cloudy days when the light is spread more evenly. |
