Hit, Sound and Goby plabondasComment: I love the mystery. I love the lighting. I love the movement. I just can't hear a thing. I wish I was there to hear what this game table table sounds like. This is my 6th I've rated so far and I haven't found that smoking gun that makes me resound. Good luck. |

B u dby CuttoothComment: I really don't like this photo. I guess looking into someones ear is not my cup of tea. I am a coffee drinker after all... but I must confess that I must give you higher marks due to the nailing of the challenge being Sound. I just finished giving very poor scores to fantastic looking photos yet you best them with this basic in your face, see it everyday on the busbudology theme. Luck. |

singby liangdaweiComment: I'm seing a pose but am left hanging when it comes to hearing the sound. It is more of a wish or a yearning than a whoaow what great chops. These guy's can really fly fast and I'm glad you could share this crisp caption with us in this challenge. I still want to hear more and this bird seems to be either getting ready to speak or has just finished saying what he had to say. I know because I too am a person of few words and long quiet moments of silence. |

Dancing on the Keysby MinsoPhotoComment: I'm not frame friendly but I like a good close-up. Good crop/composition of three main areas. I liked the blur and depth of your shot with focus on the nimble fingers. The reflection is my favorite bonus pulling me into the scene by trying to follow the reflected lines that bring me back to the playing hand. My favorite so far and my third vote after a long time being absent. Good luck. |

Turn up the Silenceby Luci11eComment: Very clever but I see wondrous lines and great composition without that noise factor that I am looking for. If the tree falls in this photo will I be able to hear the crash? I like the composition and the off center placement of the tree. The three cloud spots make the photo fabulous as do the three protruding trunks. I'm not sure if I like or dislike the fact that you left so little dark surface at the bottom of your photo. I love it but can't hear a sound. |

Sunset Jamsby giantmikeComment: Lovely soft tone but I wish I could get more sound out of that guitar. The focus seems to be a very big piece of the sky. Meditative like the creative exercise of looking for inspiration in space before getting down to the business of music. I can see the music but I can't hear it. |

I love shoppingby DonaldComment: No this is not a stuffed bird. It was retrieved injured in the wild and is now a teacher for enrironmental causes. All wild creatures are returned to nature if possible. I swear it was alive when we took the photo. This one is tame and can no longer survive on its own.

Oops, bad timingby shadeeuaComment: I've seen this very picture on the canal waters near Ottawa a month ago. It was such a surprise at the time but now it looks much more common. They are so much more funny live. I enjoy the unusual pose. Typical move from anyone trying to avoid being photographed. I would have liked seing a head peeking at us. A triangle formation would have been interesting. A couple would have made a good pair but the four bird corner to corner design seems ordinairy. Good luck |

In the Span of Sapphireby OlyuziComment: London bridge is not falling down on the dpchallenger extraordinaire of this sapphire shot. Colors, lines and framing first got my attention and I was thinking 10 and favorites list. Then I felt irritation with the star drops on the waters surface. The faint cables are reflective beauties and remind me of sails on a ship. Despite my better judgement I will give you a weak 10 for the art to heart vibration that the photo gives me. Thanks. |

Strings Attachedby inspir8tionComment: Wood meets metal neat idea. I just find the shapes and the reflection on the none wood items more interesting. A fancy antique starburst patern would have gotten you a 10 from this fellow guitarist. Having the instrument being played may have put life into your shot. Yours gets a 4 and the hope that music themes get put into future challenges soon. Thanks. |
