Patriarch of the Ancestral Groundsby JutildaComment: This is one of the best grave pictures I've ever seen. I like the simple, uncluttered look that a lot of cemetery pictures don't have. I love your use of tones and texture. 10 |

Painting With Lightby JayWalkComment: Very cool idea. Hmmmmmm. . . .I'm thinking of some cool modifications to try something like this. Thanks for telling us how you did it.
I love the picture by the way :)

On Vacationby neophyteComment: That is just so awesome. I love how those birds will just make themselves at home anywhere. They look so fat and happy, but when they take off. . .they are something behold, huh?
This is a great capture!!!!

Old Record Playerby arsenalComment: To me, the blur of the record player is distracting, and it looks a little over-exposed. But I like the motion of the record, and the reflection of the arm of the record player in the record. I like the compsition of this too.

blue smokeby arsenalComment: I love the blue tones to this one, but I think there are too many distracting elements in front of and around the cool looking smoke. I read an article on photography composition once that said the first rule of thumb is to always remove clutter. anything that's not important to the picture, if possible, get it out of the picture. But I really love the contrast of the colors and that beautiful blue.

Authorityby arsenalComment: I think the problem with this may be just one of those "dpc no-no's" in that statutes and toys nearly always get dismissed. Also, it may be a little "unsimple" in that the distractions of the shape of the figurine itself, then the red and the black where you can't really tell what it is are pretty distracting. I'm not sure I know what I'm talking about on all that, it's just something that my "eye" tells me.

Circle Faceby AlainComment: I have a soft spot for owl pictures, and this one is exceptional! I love the selective desaturation on this one. It really highlights the circles. The more I look at this, the more I like it. Good luck. 10 |
