Up Against A Wallby charmayneComment: i like the grain and the limiting, it's refreshing to see a stand against the NeatImage'ers - well done |

Life Savingsby atsxusComment: it seems this pic has gone too dark, the black negative space on the right does not compliment the target and I can only assume that mid upper section of the photo is a wallet |

One Of Many. Why? by Mark of SRQComment: very moving pic, and I respect you actually going to him to take the pic, too many images of a similar nature in this challenge have been taken from afar. - 9 |

Mental povertyby Mad-DComment: really nice pic but i don't understand the need for such a thick border that detracts from the pic rather than emphasising it - 8 |

Pecunia non oletby _wu_Comment: excellent pic, only slight issue is that the smaller fingers become a series of 'bumps' and the focus is just a little out on the tips - nothing that would alter the score though - a well deserved 10 :) |

1 Samuel 2:7by xtabintunComment: it's a guy in good clothes who is reading a book - i don't see the connection with poverty, reading the title i assume that there is some connection in the bible - do you really expect voters to find a bible and look up the text just to understand the pic? |

The Great Depressionby arcticComment: where's the rest of the focus? unless this is supposed to be a link to 'IN 1929' i really don't understand the reason for such a shallow dof
edit: ok - just checked (i did not read the title till after) 1929 is the start of the american depression, apologies - bumping up score :) |
