Darkness Is Waiting For Sleep That Will Not Come.by mhommelComment: There was a question about whether I used an additional red light to
illuminate the models face. The answer is yes, I used a flashlight
with a red lens cover. The clock did not provide nearly enough light
to see the model.
Many thanks to those who commented, I am glad that photo touched you,
many indicated that they have had nights of insomnia, it's nice to know
that we are not alone in the dark.

Religion - one of the most destructive forces in the worldby spookComment: To hell with the picture, I gave you a 10 for the title. Art is about free expression with the caveat that one must consider the best interest of their models if photographing people IMHO. In this case I say way to go. The challenge said what does darkness mean to you (the artist). |

Childhood Lostby TooCoolComment: nice focus. You could have dressed her in shabby clothes and made her look homeless. that would have really driven the point home. The Flash was a bad call, a street light would have looked more convincing. Black and white was great call. I gave you a 6. |

Together for lifeby yomanComment: I am not sure But I believe that is an obsene gesture in England. I saw it on "the young ones" when that show was playing in the states. Still I'll give you an 8. |
