I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: the photo meets the challenge, and I like the composition. However, it appears a little fuzzy. I would have scored it higher if it had better focus.

I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: the photo meets the challenge and is in focus, so I didn't score it low. It is just my opinion that a photo should be able to "stand alone" apart from the challenge (not sure that makes sense, in other words, it should be a good subject even if you don't know what challenge it was entered into). I felt that was where this photo was a little weak -- I couldn't see it having meaning apart from the challenge. So, I didn't score it as high as others.

I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: according to the title, the eye is the main subject, yet the nose is more in focus. And a very nice nose it is! :) But, it was confusing. I didn't rate it low, but didn't rate it as high as others.

I felt that was where this photo was a little weak -- I couldn't see it having meaning apart from the challenge. I also found the composition a little cluttered. Perhaps if the main subject had been placed by the "Rule of Thirds" guideline it would have helped. I didn't score it low, just not as high as some others.

I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: the photo meets the challenge, but I find the subject matter too depressing. So, I didn't score it low, but I didn't score it as high as others.
