The power of lifeby MargaretaComment: Beautiful photograph. I don't like the red frame around it, and I normally don't mind frames at all. I also think this might have worked better without the dog centered. But it is focused well and meets the challenge. :) |

Natural Balance by BeagleboyComment: Very nice photograph. It meets the challenge and is a lovely photograph on its own merit. |

The Amazing Silence by terjeComment: Oh, this is just too beautiful! I so hope people don't get hung up on the word "bizarre" and mark this down. It is absolutely perfect! |

String and Clawsby graphicfunkComment: This is a great photo (and I love cats). The focus is clear, the composition is good, the colors are natural (and the whites aren't blown out). The only thing that would have made me vote it higher was if the solid black had been carried over on top of the board. I think that would have made such a beautiful contrast to the string and white on the cat. |

butterflyby emmatComment: I know how difficult it is to photograph butterflies and moths. However, I do think the focus is a little soft here on the moth, and it also appears that a flash was used which caused some harsh shadows. Finally, while I know that some subjects should be centered, it doesn't appear to work in this photo. I did NOT give you a low score, but just wanted to offer these ideas for the future. :) |

Swan Lakeby SteveJComment: I wish I knew enought about photography to offer you some concrete suggestions here, but I don't. I know the photo looks a little cloudy and the feathers on the right side are a little blown out, but can't tell you what to do to prevent that in the future. Maybe someone with more experience can help :) |

Peace and Preyby RudyC310Comment: I love cats! Just an opinion, but I think the bar across the center of the photo might hurt the scores. Cropping just below it would have made a nice composition. |
