BIG brother! by les0910Comment: if this is not in the top of the top 3 it will be a shame.....
i'm really really looking forward to reading how in the world u made this happen.
if i had to grip which i don't but of corse it is human kinds nature i would just say that the green rist band the kid is wheiring, why?...thats it just want to know why u didn't have him take it off? i think but i'm not sure the image would be more dynamic with out it and it would be a little bit cleaner....
but i'm splitting atoms at this point and i don't need to go any finer in detail u have a great shot here i hope it gets the placement it deserves.....good luck
of corse gess it lol

Golden Morningby rsaulyteComment: very smooth, clean, and well created image.
the lighting is what makes this shot so serean (i may not have spelled that right but it is 2am so forgive me) anywho the focus is great and the image is golden...not only in the litteral but really this is a beautiful shot.

Crunchy Circlesby MinstrelComment: very warm lighting almost to warm for my tast i think it would've helped this to have set your white bal. according to your light very nice still life set up though.

Sun-Kissed Peachby AllyrelliaComment: there is frame on only the left side of this image and it very thin.....it is white which makes me think that u might have messed up a crop or enlargement of the canvis.....
other than that it is a very soft image... - the over exposed spots this image is fine
a slower speed (ISO) should've been used or a faster shutter...then the over exposed portions would not be so vast or bother some to the eye |

Rings of a Life Sharply Endedby tateComment: i really like the tones of this image....harch and warm at the same time.
i wish that it was more texture like it seems very smooth and for the nature of the shot i would like it to be very rough and more wood like less laminant.......looking.
maybe more of a macro would've brought this out and still give the circle aspect |

A Natural Circleby JeileenComment: i really your choise of subject here......i like the natrual aspect espicaly.....
however i wish that the out of focus edge didn't run right through the frame....or that it was in focus...
the eye is natrual attracted to the center of any photo and in this shot there are no leading lines drawing the eye elsewhere.....in this case u should've framed it if not dead center than off center but still central to the image and not as far to the side as u have place *it
*it refuring to the subject, in this case the circle

The Three Brothersby fotodudeComment: just found this comment i ran my edits past the SC and they voted or what ever they do...and told me that it was to much cloning......it fell under the catogory of moving large pices of the backroung.....
there was alot of other brush poking up behind the hill...and there were a few roof tops that i took out.......so it was moving major elements i gess the sky mostly.
thanx anyhow.

You know that the "three" was an advanced editing challenge and you can do some cloning. If you were not cloning the whole trees in to or out from the picture that could be ok.
I think this one would have been one of the best in the "three" challenge.
I didn't vote for your bench submission in the "three" (although it was ok) but I would have voted high for this one.

And thanks for the comment you just gave me in the "self potrait" challenge |
