Boxerby AlexSaberiComment: Well obviously it wouldn't have done THAT much better, but I have to say I agree with you, this shot definately has more 'punch'. |

Holding On For Dear Lifeby shanelighterComment: Beautiful subject. I really like the light here. Unfortunately, the composition seems just a little haphazard - the crop at the bottom is too tight. Still - you get an 8 from me. |

Duracell! by LalliSigComment: Sheesh - someone better tell Kiwiness to start entering more often - Larus is out to knock him off the top of the ribbon heap.
Another great shot my man. Congrats! |

Alluringby MakkaComment: Gorgeous girl. Nice even lighting, though there is something odd about the positioning of her legs. Could perhaps have solved that by cropping a centremetre or so from the bottom. Still, an effective image and an 8 from me. |

Stark Refectionsby JEFFJSBComment: Just stumbled across this. A shot that certainly should have done better. Terrific. |

Youngby jmritzComment: Nice sharp stop of the motion here. I would probably prefer this if the entire seagull was in the grame - but a good effort nonetheless. |

Rottnest Islandby dpdaveComment: Interesting composition here. The sky is particularly vibrant. The shot would be well served by a deeper DOF. |

Stayed to take a lookby sfmorrisComment: Very cute - a nice catch. The light is perhaps a bit flat - and stops this shot from really grabbing the viewer. 5 |

The Long Road I'm Onby toddheadComment: Nice composition and use of negative space. I like that you have managed to keep the second eye visible. It definately adds to the feeling conveyed.
I would suggest cloning out the white on the collar as it's a little distracting. Also - you seem to have pushed the contrast quite a bit, which is really effective in the region of the eyes, but has left the lips looking redder than they would ordinarily. |

vagabondby arsenalComment: A well composed image of a great subject. I love the texture created by your choice of processing, however, the halo around the man detracts somewhat from its effectiveness. I also find the background somewhat distracting - 7. |
