Town Councilby MichaelCComment: Hehehe. A very cute, almost surreal image. Kinda wish the donkey (if that's what it is) on the right had his head a tad higher, but what can ya do. 7. |

The new distorts the old...by locutusComment: Great title - makes what would otherwise be an interesting but possibly uninspiring shot into a nice little piece of social commentary. In technical terms, I might recommend cropping off the black bar at the very top. |

Pride & Joyby hahn23Comment: I really enjoy your treatment of this tender moment. An excellent, understated capture. 8. |

Silhouettes In Rockby hihosilverComment: This is a solid image. However, I think the colours are a bit oversaturated, and, while I know you're trying to get as much of the cool reflection involved as possible, I think it would be served well by cropping off about an inch at the bottom. |

My Son's Sad Eyesby maxaz1Comment: I like what your going for - emotive. I also like the way the window is framed by the plant. However, as it stands this image is a bit flat. In future, make sure it's closer to 640 pixels on its longest side.
Also, you should try playing around with curves/contrast to give it a little punch. If you're stuck without proper image editing software (as I am), download the GIMP. It's a great program and free. |

The Conductorby ecameronComment: Terrific image. This guy is obviously a real character, and you succeed admirably in telling his tale. Like the central composition but wish the writing didn't protrude from his right ear (on the viewer's left). 8 |

Starry Starry Nightby elsapoComment: I like this - very nice exposure of the night sky. Great catch of the shooting star. On the down side, I think this could be improved by cropping out the town at the foot of the mountain. The blown out lights distract from the central impact of the shot. |

The Old Missionby jerseyjimComment: Love the warm colours and their contrast with the blue sky. Seems to be some haloing where (I'm assuming) you selected and darkened the sky. Oh, and the border is a bit off-putting. These minor issues aside this is an effective image. |

"Sometimes the Best Cowboys... Ain't Cowboys at All"by nsoroma79Comment: Cute Girl and well lit. Entertaining title. The pose is a little cliche however, and I find the neatimage/airbrushing to be slightly heavy-handed. I wish you'vd left some of the detail in. This is particularly evident around the bottom of her chin and her nose. |
