Energyby suemackComment: i'm not scrolling down to see what other comments you got, but i'm going to guess the biggest problem here is not isolating your subject enough from the background. one thing you might want to do when your out shooting in these is to really open up your aperture and shoot as shallow as you can. another would be to (and believe me, this is a lot easier said than done) get down close to ground level and shoot up.
