Get your kicks on......by ChasSourekComment: this would be more appealing if cropped for more sky or shot from an angle that would have shown the road (although it's not easy travelling with a ladder on the roof) |

School's Out...by pogboy4Comment: Ok, school's out and you are free to do whatever you want, including staying up past your bedtime. Unfortunately, the light from the TV isn't enough. There's just not enough sharpness to make me want to sift through the whole picture to see what the story is. Maybe a little more emphasis on the person might help. |

No Worriesby vonautschComment: I don't really see this meeting the challenge, even in title. From a shooting perspective, the white line distracts, and the subject should be facing into the picture. Maybe next time you have this opportunity, try getting the camera down to street level rather than at snapshot level. Also, rather than just taking a picture of a squirrel, try capturing some context to add to the story. |

Orange Manby tristanComment: And this represents freedom how? I guess freedom of expression. Maybe try this at a different time of day when the light is not so harsh. Also, try different angles so you can find the one that really flies. I like the background, but can't tell if he's on a cliff. Obviously, with some work, there is some potential here, but, unfortunately, for me, for this challenge, I can't score it any higher. |

Alone and free to stand tallby keriboiComment: Maybe from a different angle with different lighting, this picture might do more. Cropped the way it is, it just doesn't do much for me. It does seem to have potential as a subject. |

Childhood Freedomby justineComment: I had to come back to this one a couple times to get it. Maybe if the fountains were a little more apparent in a first or second glance (or if other fully dressed people where more visible). The lighting is nice for a midday shot, and the focus is sharp. For the picture to work for me, it just needs more context. |

On a wing and a prayerby johnmComment: This just didn't say 'freedom' to me, but I've been known to miss things before. The clouds are nice, the shot seems to lack an overall sharpness. |

Vacationby JoelHSmithComment: This is a tough picture to take, and it takes a lot of practice to get it 'just like in the brochures.' The top to flowers are distracting, and the DOF is too shallow. It's hard to get this to come out right in the middle of the day without the benefit of filters. Looks like a great place to shoot. |

Freedom of the Airwavesby goodhartComment: More context and contrasting skies could help this picture. I know, I know, sometimes you have only the subject and the sky of the moment, and you don't have the opportunity to come back the next day...Anyway, when you do have a subject like this, shoot it up from all angles, in close and further away. Don't just go for the quick snapshot (unless your travelling companions are threatening to leave you behind). |

Finally Freeby amcraigComment: Nice snapshot! Great moment to capture (and not one that comes along that often...unless you work there). |
