nice idea. needs more focus. also, maybe backoff just a little to get more room on the front and back, as well as to take advantable of the diagonals.

nice shot. i would like it more if the lighting wasn't so harsh. also, try to avoid splitting the frame down the middle. photos tend to have more impact when split into thirds (either horiz or vert).

love the idea, but not the lighting. i think you could find a way to shoot this so that the background comes out completely black. as is, it is somewhat distracting. also, i think it would work better either without the rings, or with the rings move up a bit (but defintely not cropped out).

talk about taking advantage of the rules...clever, clever! if you aren't going to shoot straight on, you might want to rotate ccw just a hair more.

nice idea. probably would like it more if you backed off a hair and included all the bug's shadow. lighting is a tad strong. also, you might want to take advantage of advanced editing rules to clean up the spots...
