I really like the composition and pose in this image. The color scheme and dramatic contrast of red against dark hair is very attractive also. Nice image. The facial mood does the title justice, too.

Huh! For a second, I thought I'd just seen this little guy in the challenge, "Backlighting". He's kinda cute anyway. Wish his reflected image was sharper, that he was more "centered", and that his original (not reflected) shell was more in focus overall. But, that's just me. Nice image.

I really liked this image. The bright bar coming in from the right at the center of the image really bothered me though. I would burn it out in future versions if it were my image. Anyway, that's my opinion. With the exception of that, it's a really great image. Good luck with the challenge.

Printed onto a plastic substrate, framed and mounted with backlighting, this would be great in some yachting bar or coastal city restaurant. Very nice image.

Really nice image. Because of the backlighting of the bright green leaves, the subdued and slightly out of focus background in this image doesn't conflict with the foreground image, it actually complements it. Congratulations.

Everything was so clear and distinct, and in focus, and full of contrast. Well composed. But, what the heck was that little dark fleck of dirt on the bottom petal to the left? Drove me crazy. Nice image though. Congratulations and good luck with the challenge.

Very nice lighting and composition. Wonderful setting and pose. I only had two problems in viewing: 1) the table base had such clarity and reflectiveness that it tended to overpower the image of the body; and, 2) given the lighting on the subject, the shadows appeared very indistinct and far toward the background than what I would have expected. As a result, I ended up puzzling over the "whys" rather than enjoying the image as much as I would have expected. But, again, a VERY nice image. Congratulations.

Yes, and you can see it on their faces. Wonderful stop action image. Too bad the child in the front has his hand over the face of the boy in the back on the right. And I would have rated slightly higher if there was slightly more detail on the faces and the fronts of the bodies. I would have cropped a little more, too. Centered the image, got rid of the bottom 1/5th and the left and right 1/8th or so. But, hey! That's just me. You have a really nice image.
