Good work... The gentle sweeping cirrus clouds add a nice element. What IR filter did you use?

I like your choice of framing, perspective provides nice effect. Very nice exposure; captured both the natural and artificial lighting elements.

Nice composition, I like the abatract nature of the shot. Is the slight blurring to bottom right due to jet exhaust? I've experinced this on some of my aerial shots.

Nope, they are real. For all those who asked, the blue pepper is a common green bell pepper, color obtained thru hue adjustment. Note the bits of blue on the green stem of the yellow pepper. Just a bit too close in hue to differentiate from the green one.
In fact, this shot really gave me heartburn. I could not find a really deep green bell pepper, and so was forced to use the coolest light source possible, e.g. flash. This allowed me to differentiate between the green pepper and the yellow.
Since on-camera flash gave really poor results, I used a remote flash. But, lacking ability to synchronize the flash to the camera, I had to darken the room completely and use a 1/2second exposure, manually triggering the flash with my left hand just after triggering the remote release for the shutter with my right. I finished this thang at 04:00 AM, and I'm very happy about the 4th place showing (ohhh, so close!). I'm also very happy with all the constructive comments, 31 in all during the challenge. Thank you all.

The lighting is fantastic. I love the comp as well. the dark shadow at upper left is a very slight distraction.
I wold have loved a very bright yellow item, and wish you had shown a little more of the red. Perhaps one of the items hanging over the edge?

The reflections add so much to this image. That and your choice of exposure. Focus is exactly where it needed to be, right on the sharp broken edges.
Are the reflections a window treatment or the inside of a light tent?

Everything works well here, lighting, exposure, colors, framing. I especially like the type block. Among the very best this week.

I like the concept, very well framed. Perhaps better with a bight higher contrast and perhaps (am I really saying this??) a bit more saturation.
