This is a very nice capture. The yellow yells at the viewer, "here's the subject!". This is a picture that can tell the story without words. Thanks for posting, now in my favs.

As-is your shot looks more like a snapshot, sorry. A little more creativity would have made the photo score higher IMO. Such as adding an element of someone placing recyclables into the dumpster and a different POV. Wish you well in the challenge.

EDIT to ADD: Photographer pm'ed me after the challenge and asked in a kind manner why I felt like this photo looked like a snapshot. I defended my comment and we had a nice dialogue with each other. I have looked at this photo throughout today studying everything and have come to the conclusion that it does NOT warrant being classified as a snapshot.

I apologize if I offended the photograph with my statement. The remainder of my comment I still standby.

Blackbox thank for the PM you sent and hope you accept my apology. You are a good photographer and it was nice speaking with you through PM.

IMO I think a wider view of the lot being used as a garden within an urban setting would have had more of an impact. Good concept.

Very abstract and has a large blown out area. I can clearly see the recycle symbol. IMO I think the photograph could have been taken from a different POV to become more pleasing to the eye. Good focus on the logo. I wish you the best in the challenge.
