100 Years of Christmasby PGerstComment: A wonderful family photograph. Your Grandmother has been blessed with years that many people don't get to enjoy. Your family are blessed to have her for Christmas another year. May God bless your family with many more Christmases with her.
Nice picture and family story.

Into The Abyss by scarbrdComment: Combining three exposures worked really well with this shot. I don't know if you could have brought out the details in the snow (ground left bottom) as well as you did with only one exposure. I have fav'ed this photograph for several reason. 1) It look very natural and you didn't go overboard with the editing. 2) You did a great job in picking the location and point of view. 3) I'm not just looking at power lines, I'm enjoying a wonderful landscape image with very nice detail. 4) I can feel the temperature in the photo and wish I was enjoying the snow.
To sum it up you did what needed to be done to make this work. You did a great job from picking a location, determining to use three exposures, and the out come was great.
Great job

rainbow 092809.jpgby dassilemComment: A very nice rainbow capture. I want so bad to have the opportunity to capture a rainbow from ground-to-ground without any obstructions. I have only see it happen once where I live and would you know, I didn't have a camera with me.
Very nice colors. |

- Architectural Symmetry - by andrewtComment: Can symmetry and abstract co-inside together within one photograph? Apparently so! Making a wonderful picture to look at that is very pleasing to the eye. Well positioned and the lighting is great. fav. |

Autumn in Illinois by tfarrell23Comment: Why be amazed? This is one of the best autumn photographs I have seen. Beautiful colors, The lighting is absolutely wonderful, you picked the best "point of view" in my opinion, and executed what you set out to do. The processing looks very natural and that adds to the feel of your photograph. Fav! |

1000th Challenge Collageby SDWComment: Originally posted by landcamera: Outstanding work, your fortitude for not only taking on a project of this caliber but seeing it through to the end says a lot for your commitment to DPC. Are the images randomly arranged or are they in order of placement? |
All the pictures are placed at random. However the 1st place image was placed in the top left corner. |
