Iwo Jima Remembered by blemtComment: Now I really like this photograph, it has emotion. You can see it in his eyes and face. The Washington Monument in the background is great being out of focus just enough to add to the picture but not over power the subject. One note: This shot has so much emotion I believe if you could see a video of this same man at the same time you took the picture he would be as motionless and concentrated as in this photograph captures and when you can achieve what would happen after this fraction of time you have captured in a photo, you have done an excellent job. |

Zorro was a Womanby WinterbergComment: A good idea and capture with good lighting. The only distraction I have is the shadow that overtakes her eye on the left side. With that said a good photograph. |

Forgotten Heroesby kirtiebuComment: Nice capture however I believe it would have looked good in b&w. You photo is also on a tilt to the left I believe if you would of cropped and rotated a bit it would of vertically lined up the stones and background trees. |

Sewing Needleby mrorange002Comment: I really like this micro. The colors are nice; I like the DOF with the focal point in the center [Blur front and Back], and I think the lighting is great. Great Job! |

Close to the Ethernetby SteveJComment: 100k w/ 5% tolerance if my memory serves me correctly and if I can see the color lines on a resistor that means you have a great micro in focus with color detail. Great job! |

In The Newsby saintaugustComment: I̢۪m sorry but I don̢۪t think this photo works. The subject is not interesting nor appealing to me. I have to ask myself would I want this picture on my wall and the answer is no. Now a picture of a book or paper can be a good micro but it̢۪s all in how you present the subject.. Your composition is off making a flat image. Even though it̢۪s in focus. Wish you the best. |

Peelingby peeteComment: So far one of my favorite micros because of the detail and lighting not to mention the B&W works very well with this shot. The shadows stand out great. Great Micro. |

Shells on Black Sandby drgsoellComment: I think you have a good micro here. Nice colors, texture, lines, and curves. The subject sitting on top of the background adds to the depth. The only thing that is distracting to me is the bottom right, too much white. Great shot! |
