Another Day Another Dollarby utroComment: Nice set up. I think the background has harsh lighting compared to the foreground subject. But still great effort and good outcome. |

Peace by Prime_TimeComment: You here users on this site say I am going to vote down a photograph because I have seen it over and over again. Your photograph is one of the reason I don't agree with that theory. I have tried shot's like this and they are hard and you never know what the outcome will be. So I like the fact you went with a style that has been used a lot but adding one of the most popular symbols of the 70's in your photograph. I think the colors add to the depth of your photograph. So to all that says I'm tired of seeing the same tricks, styles, pictures, etc.... You Earned a 9 from me. |

Culture Clashby AleciaComment: You went out side the box on this one and I have to say it worked. You added an element of todays with the 70's giving your photograph dimension. I think you composition is great along with color, lighting, focus. What else can I say, you took a chance and IMO it worked. 9 |

Make Peace Not Warby ColeyComment: Either you got lucky or you went to good lengths to set up a photograph the sets the mood of the 70's. Very good set up and even though your photograph is good technically, IMO i would of liked to see you make the picture look older than new. That's the only thing I can see that I would of like better. Maybe more noise, etc. With that said, this is a basic challenge, you could only do so much processing. And I have to say a great effort and picture. 9 |

Psychedelics and Rock & Rollby neenee1999Comment: I think your photograph is good but could use some improvement. It seems to have quite a bit of noise on the 8 track tape and in some of the darker tie-die colors. However I think you have meet the challenge completely and your photograph does set the mood of the 70's. Good Job 7 |

Apocalypse Now: The Cold Warby CutterComment: Photograph to blown out for me. Really hurts my eyes. IMO it's not a long shot connecting the title to a movie of the 70's. And the cold war was before, during, and after the 70's. I wish you well in the challenge. |

"Mork calling Orson. Come in Orson."by a5280hidiComment: Nice picture of an old home probably from the 1800's. I know you are connecting it with the 70's by a sitcom [mork and mindy] but the connection is not strong to me. It just does not portray the 70's emotion or content to me. That is not saying your picture is bad because it is not. It would of been better if larger giving more details. I wish you the best in the challenge |
