Servant's Quartersby novaComment: Very nice find and nice detail. I don't care to much for the border especially with that tight of a crop. I think a solid white border a bit smaller would of be better. With that said, I still like you photograph. Composed well and lighting good. |

Out To Pastureby cwyouComment: I would of loved to see more details in the abandoned buildings. Nice shot but the subjects are very dark. |

cornerby visaksenComment: Saturation has been pushed to its limits. Photograph really does not say 'abandoned building' to me. It tells me more about the bricks than the building. I think you needed a little more elements in the picture and you would of had a good shot. Wish you well in the challenge. |

Mach 2 with your hair on fire .............by SailingduckComment: I love Military jets and the F15E is one of my favorites. Capable of reaching Mach 2.5 at high altitudes but is limited to Mach 1.8 when armed. You did a great job of capturing the speed and agility of this large fighter. Which BTW is capable of +9 G-load. Now thats extreme. Great Job! 10 |

Urban Landscape Linesby BooZonComment: I don't know if I am the one to be commenting on this but I also feel that the over intentional sharpening was to much. I understand that you wanted to bring out the weathered look and you did but by oversharping the complete image everything seems to blends together. I hope that make sense. If you could of sharpened your main subject that you wanted to emphasis weathering and left the other portions of the image alone IMO I believe it would of been more dramatic. As it sits now everything blends and my eyes don't want to focus on the columns and bridges. They bounce all around the picture. On a positive note I believe you composted the picture well and offered us a good POV. I also like the B&W effect. Message edited by author 2005-03-31 02:29:05. |

Rejoice Now Childrenby KylieComment: Very nice photograph that I think would of scored well in the current challenge. It's not just a picture of a cemetery, it's not showing the down side of life or death, it's shows harmony and I see life and death in this photograph and how closely related they area. As far as the photograph, it is great. I love the DOF and how vividly you captured the colors of the flowers. Great composition and POV brings this shot to a level I believe that the photographer could only capture with a good eye. So yes you have a great camera but you also showed us how in the hands of a good photographer with a very good eye it's not the camera that counts it the person behind it. Great Job!
