I love cats , I can't imagine my life without them and grey ones have something special.
This one is simply fantastic , relaxed but with the eyes opened to see what's happening around him/her.
What I like in this photo : of course the pose , the focus , the cushion (or blanket) that gives contrast because of its color and adds a diagonal element and the way you have used lights and shadows.

No real interest in this photo ,I know it's only basic editing but rust can look very appealing , here we can't even feel the texture and colors are a bit fade.You could have played with contrast and saturation to center the attention on the object.
