Authority in Chessby setechaComment: Nice idea. The use of color and the framing/composition work very well in this photo. I like the soft focus on the pawns and the crisp focus on the King and Queen. |

We just found them here Sister... honest by ColeyComment: What is it with nuns, rulers, and authority? Seriously, great subtle images in this shot. I find it interesting that we are looking down on the nun. This shot is too well set up for that to be a mistake. I am curious about why you chose that particular angle and point of view. |

Hey You...Moove Over!by jemisonComment: Man, I see this image too often in Northern Nevada. Nice use of color and interesting placement within the frame. A real cow in the shot somewhere would have been interesting. |

Lights of Justiceby DefyTimeComment: Oh, it took me a second to get it. Great idea. At first it looked like some sort of train moving off the the screen. The image creates movement. I like the framing and the reflection. |

policiaby cesarpzComment: Yes, this certainly meets the challenge. Great choice to use black and white. The stance, expression, and certainly the uniform of your subject, along with the words behind him, work very well for me. |

Unauthorized Entryby fulgentComment: Very funny. I like your humor. The colors seem drab and faded with the light source working against the image rather than enhancing it. Fun idea, though. |

I 've got the point SIR!by HeavyComment: Great job of letting this image fill the frame. Centering it smack dab in the middle works well in this instance, even though it violates the first rule of compostion. The stark red and white really do shout out the message. |

Listen to me !by mariegbeveComment: This image looks staight out of a low-budget S&M porno. Your subject looks a little frightened if you ask me. Angle, framing, and stark use of muted colors enhance the severity of the image. Daring and edgy. If my interpretation is correct, the undertones were intended. |

Car accidentby TedvandenBerghComment: Interesting that you shot this from almost the same point of view as another photographer and that you included him in your frame. I get the message that the media are the authority because they have the power of the slant of the story and the angle of the image. Am I right? |

Penalty Timeby eaglebeckComment: This photo doesn't work for me because of the position you have put the ref in. He seems to be cowering. Maybe that was intended. I think it would be more powerful to have him facing down a player, throwing down the flag, or marking off the penalty. It sort of looks like he is a lady daintily picking up a hankie. Good use of color and crisp image. The placement of the subject within the frame is nicely done, also. |
