I LOVE this shot. I think it might work a bit better if the dart were more off center, although I do like the symmetry of it as-is. You did a great job of getting the colored bars to perfectly aligned. If this one doesn't place highly, it's a crime!

wonderful!! i've tried this effect myself several times, and I could never get it to look right, but you've managed to do it fantastically! i don't see this one as a winner, but I do think it's a nice shot.

this photo is really simple, which isn't inherently bad, but when you do have just one subject you need to do something else to help.. the shadows are a very nice touch, but an off-centered composition (per the rule of thirds) would have been more effective.

I don't understand how this is classy.. if anything, I would think this would be a trashy holiday display.. Nothing against you or your model, she's very pretty, you just usually think of any kind of tie between a religious holiday and sexual innuendo as kind of trashy.. any other time I would give thsi shot high scores, it's very well done, but i just find it inappropriate for this challenge.

i really like the unusual angle of this shot. the boring building on the far left kind of distracts from the other, much prettier buildings. if i were you i would have cropped that out (and a little off the right to try to balance it out). 8

one of my favorite poems ever, and one of my favorite shots in the challenge!! LOVE the border, love the soft focus effect, love the lighting.. plus this reminds me of my shot, which definitely helps ;) 10!
