Land of the Wazirby aznymComment: They are not birds. They are tiny insects and I never saw them for real.
They were getting registered on the LCD of the camera (probably because of the refresh rate) and I manually focussed the camera to a point so they sometimes appeared in focus. Sometimes these dots would appear on the screen for about a second and then disappear. When the dots on the screen appereared darker, I fired (few of them had to be in focus to be that dark).
They are extremely fast and very small and I think that why I was never able to see them. I tried really hard to figure out where exatly they were but didn't see a single one of them. I did notice them on previous occasions too on some shots and they looked like sensor dust but I also know that I don't have sensor dust. But, again, I was trying to figure out what they were since I never saw anything.
As for the bird in the lower left corner - it's a TV antenna.
And yeah, I did see them as helicopter and this reminded me of a war scene. That's the reason for the title - Land of the Wazir (Waziristan) Message edited by author 2009-12-15 03:15:34. |
