Is that you? I've been waiting...by mirdonamyComment: I do find it a bit washed out from being a bit bright.
The one I submitted is a bit bright too, but only realized after and I have now calibrated my monitor again.
Anyway, hope that you will be able to fix whatever making it a bit bright. |

Cape Cod Lightby ButterflySisComment: There's undeniable beauty in this shot. Love the way the clouds have turned out.
The onlt thing that bothers me is that I feel that it's a bit heavy on the left of the frame. Would love to see a square crop of this image.
I like it a lotl and I think it's a very good image. All the best. |

The Desert That Time Forgotby briphotoComment: In whatever way you did it, I like the way you have picked the centre of movement. Looks different to what I have seen so far of the stars. I think it makes more interesting and better than just pick an area and point at the sky and leave it open for hours.
All the best.

He Triedby trnqltyComment: I find the left of the frame distracting me from looking across the image even. That part is sort of in your face and unavoidable. Even when I am looking at the guy's face, I am forced to look at the left of the frame.
I like the angle and the idea. But as I mentioned, I do find that bit distracting a lot. |

Silvia by cyanoComment: I like this shot a lot. Her facial expression, hair and are just great. I also love the tones in this image. I do find the little girl in the background bit distracting because I somehow think that the amount of blur on her doesn't actually add to the image. I feel that this image would be stronger with a simple background, like what's there without the child.
I also feel that a bit can be taken off from the right of the frame. To be it looks a bit off balance.
But overall, it's a great image and I think it's one of the best in the challenge. Best of luck.

Relaxationby KekiinaniComment: I think this shot would look a bit better if the contrast was increased a bit. You may loose some detail in the coconut palms, but it would take out the smokiness of the image. |

The Blood of Christby vtruanComment: I can't associte this picture with a night shot. Not saying that it wasn't taken after the sun went down. But, the colours don't really give the sense of night. And I do not find the subject or composition interesting.
I think (if there was enough room for you to get the whole cross in the frame) a portrait or vertical shot would have worked better. Also, the sky if it was a bit darker would have made you feel more like you are looking at a night scene.
Usually, the sky is something that we see almost every day and it doesn't change much. To make something like the sky interesting with an object like the cross you have used, I think you would need to make it stand out - created some contrast for it to look interesting to the viewer. All the best with future projects. |
