Who is Watching Whoby ShadowfaxComment: haha, they were definitely checking you out!
I would've cropped a little tighter to get rid of the fence in the top right. I like to run my eyes all around the edges of the frame and make sure there aren't any little distractions like that acting to pull the viewers eyes away from the subject. |

Surf's Up!by lentilComment: To me it's really the surfer himself that is the subject, and with that in mind he looks too centered to be following the rule of thirds. I think the placement would have had a bit more impact if it was zoomed out a bit and the subject was in the lower right, facing into the frame instead. As he is here, the line of the surfboard leads your eyes right out of the frame. |

Minding His Gaggleby DreamerdollComment: The way the birds head and neck are in shadow really decrease its interest as a subject. The photo also seems a little overexposed. |

Y?by DottieDComment: Very flat lighting. Maybe with light cast on this, some extra dimension would add visual interest to the shapes and lines. |

Main Islandby The_WedgeComment: Nice subject and pretty range of blues and aquas between the water and the sky. The horizon looks a little wonky though. |
