A Door of the Pastby nikon_girlComment: Beautiful . A 9. Small deduction for heaviness of shadow under bolt housing. Perhaps a reflector could have been placed to soften shadow without interfering with otherwise superb lighting. |

Fork Lift Chainsby goinskiingComment: Nice picture. I would have liked a smaller aperture, this picture can handle more parts of it being in focus. Nothing to hide her.

old toolsby hodgeComment: I don't really know what I am looking at.I like the piece of wood on the top but it seems to have an iron spike either through it or under it. I cannot tell which. The shallow depth of field hurts as the piece of wood in the background could add pictorial interest but is far out of focus. The lighting is also quite dim.

Rusted Maidenby PoobaComment: Not enough lighting contrast to bring out maidens features.

Rusted But Still Trustedby ShakeyComment: Interesting shadows, lovely pose, great shot. The subject is just a hair shy of having the appeal that such great photographic ability deserves.

The Nature of Rustby dagaleaaComment: The sharp shadows make this picture. Excellent combination of lighting from two directions. I like blue with orange rather than green, but the green works well here.

Old Masterby jmritzComment: Sorry, the colors are too strong for me aaand the lock clashes with the chain and gate. Softer light would help.

Rusty barbed wireby gunnarlogiComment: Underexposed from my point of view. The aperture looks just right, so a little longer shot?

Old Bridgeby m--EComment: I don't know what that is on the left hand side. I love the loss of focus and backlighting of trees, also the disappearance of road over horizon.
A 7. Much higher if blue and white thing on left side of picture were not present. |

Achy Jointsby zwhitleyComment: Very nice. However, I wonder if a shot from the other side might not have been better lit, yet just as awesome.
