Sargent Yellow Pepperby NeuferlandComment: What is going on in upper left corner. A quarter inch cropped off the top would preserve the great simplicity of this shot which is well lit and quite nice overall. A 7. |

Steel Gourdby jbeazellComment: Interesting observation of likeness of bolt heads to gourd. The composition suffers from the picture being cut nearly in half horizontally. Perhaps if the gourd were moved further back, the camera moved to the right, so that it allowed more of the bridge to be seen and so that the gourd compared in pictorial size to the bolt heads A 5. |

'dandelion'by suemackComment: I think there is a green color cast that weakens this picture. Also the bloom that is most in focus is not enough to carry the rest of the picture. A 4. |

Suicide Bobby TLL061Comment: I like the way you made the stairway almost perpendicular. The picture itself lacks sparkle.

Changing colorsby smr78Comment: Nice lesson in reflected light. The border helps a lot. Somehow though, perhaps too much neatimage, but the apple appears flattened where the yellow rellects. A 7. |

Following the Yellow Stripesby JEFFJSBComment: A nice point of view. I like how far you can see the stripes under the cat. I like this better when I crop off the buildings on the left. A 7. |

Moon on the wallby KazzeComment: A lower wattage light bulb with a longer exposure might have helped. The wall is interesting. A 5. |

Born Yellowby sailracer_98Comment: This is a pretty difficult subject. The hottest lava has about exhausted the variation in yellow, and the crevices don't allow light.. There are some interesting variations in texture and the composition is good. A 6.
