Nice shot! Like the tranquility of the sky and the water. I would have taken two steps to the left though, because with this framing, it looks like the statue's hand is growing directly out of its right shoulder...

Great shot. But the background is too prominent fo my taste, drawing attention away from the boy. Less DOF would've worked better. Perhaps it'd be worth it to select that part of the photo in Photoshop and use a couple of levels of Gaussian blur on it. Still, I am slightly envious -- it's a remarkable photo. Congratulations.
