Interesting textures, but I think overall, the photo is too busy. It would be nicer if the dripping sap stood out more (maybe go in closer?)

Very nice... The colors are rather interesting. A slightly wider DOF might have been nice, but this is cool nonetheless.

I really like the texture and the angle you've captured here, but it would be nicer to see the colors brighter and more vibrant - some extra post-processing would do wonders for this!
