The colors seem oversaturated and too high a contrast probably adds to the blow out in the whites. In my opinion a natural scene requires careful control of contrast and saturation to keep it from looking artificial. |
I like bright and saturated colors, not enough ones taste. :-)
I did rush through this one tho, had things to do today. |

From Paul's rock Day 1.jpgby tnunComment: The depth and line is this photo is awesome. Its got good contrast from left to right. The nice curve from the bank on the right match those in the distance hills, the tips of the water match those of the tree tops.
There is alot of great line here, wish had more s curve to the river on this great diagonal. Great work! |

Pond colorsby cogeroxComment: Nice muted colors, I think this would also look pretty good in black and white also. I think this would bring out some more contrast behind the object in the pond. Has some good depth also. |
