Good idea, but the details are missing to make it work for your concept: the hood ornament could use a good polish, the chrome needs a shine, the hood needs a wax, and the reflection should be a more obvious symbol of success (a mansion, for example). I do like the angles and the almost-centered subject.

I can't for the life of me figure out what this is. I assume some sort of electrical discharge or other sci-fi type of thing. It just isn't interesting enough as an abstract to warrant a good score.

That title is sneaky - made me look to see what the heck you were talking about. You might have a little too much DOF here; I think I'd like more of the flower in focus. The flower could be brighter, too, and the background on the right is distracting, even while out of focus. Your subject, though, is interesting, and I like the shapes - especially the titular droplet contrasting with all the angles elsewhere.
