This is one of my absolute favorite compositions in the challenge, and so extremely well done. However, I am making myself really evalute what the challenge is, and I think it is ALL about using a light color on a background of white. I only see tones of B & W in this, so would feel it unjust to score it high. Sorry! EDIT: after so much variance in the interpretation of the challenge, I am coming back through and this time judging on photogrpahic quality only, and not if it meets the challenge within reason. Bumping up.

I was going to give this a ten, becuase its quality as an iamge is simply stunning. However, in really considering the challenge, it specifically states that you are to use a light color and this appears to have no color to me. I am very lax on "meeting the challenge", but am actually trying to tighten up a little just so as to be fair to those who did truly meet it. Sorry. Beautifully created. I am feeling that it would be unjust to vote B & W's very high in this challenge, though. I think the challenge hinges on "light color", and in this case, I see only light tonal ranges of B & W. Sorry. I am going back and re-evaluating all my scores that were high on B & W shots; I almost thought yours was until I noticed the delicate yellow of the bills. Quite possibly one of the ribboners!!!!!

I just read the comments on this and just realized that in this one and in others, "busy" often makes a photo come alive and I wish it weren't always treated so poorly on DPC. This image is about life and that is not well represented always by singular simplicity.
