The lighting is perfect the body too.
The Ribbon even fits it better. It seems that you managed to do everything correct, even wining the ribbon. Congrats on your first and blue ribbon, way to go.

Ok for you people who can't figure it out. I just had to run against the post and hang there for 1 or 2 seg. Then the camera would be on self timer and burst 3. after like 100 shots choose the one that i thought was best.

I don't know if this is to comment! :) But i'll comment.
I think the eyes should stick out more, it seems you have bright eyes and that makes it really nice with the contrast of the hair, If i'm wrong sorry. But i still think the eyes should have less shadow.
Besides that everything looks good. Nice portrait.

Again you managed to get the colores really strong and you can decifer what it is easly. Just another great shot. Sometimes you just have to go your way, Submit what others like if you want to win the ribbon or get high scores, but stick with what you like. Keep it up, i want to see more of this! :)

I just love the colors on this shot. It's diferent to, you play very well with motion blurr, it's blurred but at the same time you can see what it is. I don't really know why this got so low. I didn't votte on this challenge but i would probably give it a 7. Keep it up i would like to see more photos of this kind. Directly to my favorites.

I really like this shot. I was just wondering around peoples porfolio and i saw this photo on yours. Simple and WOW. It has a fell of ancient B&W movies, do i haven't seen many but i can almost imagine them. :) great photo direct to my favorites.

This is a really great photo. I really like the comment i think that both the photo and comment go together really well. Love the mood of softness on the image but at the same time the rage of the river. great shot you got here. Sometimes you shoot just to shoot but in this case you had a thought about the image it self. Very good.
I would like to see more of this type of thing image and mood.

As you used long exposure the rest of the photo seems to have gotten out of focus too. Don't know if you used a tripod. But it would be a really great image if it was focused where it was suposed to be.
