Daily Processing Centerby molinski4611Comment: Originally posted by smudgeSMJ: Simple and funny and an interesting take on the challenge, but this lacks the x-factor. The composition is too straightforward for me and the background is too dull - the stark whiteness of the thought bubble kind of makes the wall seem dirty to me. |
The thought bubbles are white and supposed to be photographed as such, the wall is "seafoam green" and is recorded by my camera at that color. Clean your monitor. The composition is supposed to be straightforward. There's no mystery here, keep that x-factor blasphemy off DPC, this isn't 1X.com... |

Coffee anyone?by mbrutus2009Comment: Maybe your monitor is overbright, but your background isn't pure white. It's slightly grey that blends to white then to black. Very artificial looking. |

Drink Cheerwineby klkitchensComment: what does the box have to do with the portrait? If the answer is nothing, then I'd say put a sheet over it next time... |

Stetson Man by LVicariComment: I saw your other shots on the forum. I think the eyes are a little hyper-realistic but other than that, great shot! Oh, and the boken is a little weird looking to me, maybe over sharpened? |

At the Damby TheStickComment: I think this has the potential to be a good landscape image. It looks like you took the time to mask out the back layer behind the valley for exposure but the overall blue cast seriously takes way from the image. Next time check your grey/white balance. |
