looks like a monkey, not a human. So maybe monkeyesque or self-apparent would have been better titles. The shot itself is blurry, i like some of your other zoo photos better.

i only voted on a handful of the images and this one (by chance, I guess) was one of three I gave the highest score. I think challenge accuracy and true emotion won over here. So, yes for some PS rules. For others, it may be real impact that rules, you know? At least that is what I tell myself.

you know, you speak of emotion being important, and I agree for the most part. But I think this image is full of emotion, or the emotion of being emotionless, exhausted. I like this and liked it the first time I saw it too.

I really like this. Could I suggest changing the color of the inside of the head either to a dark black or maybe edit further to manipulate brain coils in there. Because at first it was difficult to understand that that was an opening.
