my opinion: crop it tighter right under the navel, convert to black and white and being able to see the eye.. those things would improve this image. however its not hurting my eyes to look at it ;)

the speck of blue or whatever around the whiskers, bottom center, drew my eye instantly. Don't ya just hate basic editing? beautiful cat, its so hard to shoot an animal in low light but this looks great. Love the reflection in the eye.

imho, this has way to much contrast, its too black. I think that might be because you didnt shoot in low light but rather tried to take an image and make it darker? I love the shot, would like to see the original :)

While shooting for this challenge I had a similar look on a photo I took, where a part of the face was sticking out of the blackness.. I wish I could have edited it out but couldn't, so I decided on another shot. This is great, but imo I think it would look way better with the right side of the face burnt out to black and there only be half a face.. cute kid and great shot :)
