Thank you for doing something different - I was about to scream when I rerached your image :) Nice bright color (which clearly meets the theme). Depth of field is good in that most of the subject is in focus and the background is very well blurred, yet the rear petals of the flower are out of the field of focus which is a bit of a bummer. Definitely a great image though, and kudos for not shotting a neon sign!

Not sure what the words "the illy" bring to this image. I think it would be a stronger image if they were cropped out.

From the challenge description, neon is either the traditional glowing, or a very birtghly lit color. I'm glad to see a non-glass-tube entry, but in this case I'm seeing a washed out land mass against a not very bright blue body of water. I'm afraid I don't see much relation to the challenge theme. Ignoring the theme, I'd suggest this image was shot when the sun was too high as there is little textural detail in the ground. Seems that there may be some sharpness problems on the outside as well.

What's funny is that the web seems to naturally make the pattern of "WWW" in the lower left. Nature's own World Wide Web! Cool image... I'd like to see the depth of field blur out the background plant more. I went with a natural neon theme too and am getting creamed for missing the theme - hope your doing better!

There is not enough contrast between the water and the lower material it is spilling over. The image also appears blurred as though taken by hand at a slow shutter speed.
