Fireworks from the Seaby sfabioComment: This is different - haven't seen too many fireworks shots that include ground details to add to interest. I like the effect of the foreground boats. Looks like your shutter speed was dead-on as well. Seems like a bit too much ISO noise causes a distracting effect. |

rocksby akyrosComment: Highlights are blown out all over the rock surfaces causing significant loss of detail. the tonal range between the water and rocks is just too much for the camera to hold either in detail. This shot needed to be taken closer to sunrise / sunset. |

Above the Cloudsby RoosterComment: Not sure if its the overall darkenss of this image, but there doesn't seem to be quite enough detail in the clouds to make this "work" for me. The horizon line is also tilted clockwise. |

"River Dusk"by ISivicComment: There's an interesting optical illusion in this image... It feels like its tilted counterclockwise, yet you've lined up the tree trunk in right-frame, and I think the horizon is level as well. I like the silhouette in the upper right. The leaves in the upper left are a distraction; Too little of them to contribute to the image. Also a bit too dark overall to retain detail on the background town. |

Flowerby sfarrell23Comment: Not enough detail in the petals for me - seems to have an overall washed out feel, perhaps from a bit too aggressive levels adjustment? |

MICHELLEby kiwinickComment: The backlighting is a bit too strong at the top of the head. the brightness from those highlights takes away from the subject. good positioning, and I like the effect of the wind blowing throught hair. |

The race is won, he's free at lastby TuckersmomComment: Great animal portraiture, and what better a scene for an ex-racer. I bet he loves to race the waves now that he's running for himself and his friend... Might not appeak to everyone, but I have a greyhound mix, so this picture makes me imagine this dog stretching his legs - I'm sure it's a regal sight. My only feedback is that image is a bit soft - maybe some more sharpening, or a faster shutter next time. |

Fall's Tranquilityby Resusit8uComment: Wow! Great landscape! The only thing I'd like is to see a more dramatic light. Perhaps slight rays throgh morning fog, etc. I wouldn't change anything in terms of composition otherwise though - very nice. |

Amoreby PedroComment: You've captured great contrast in this image, and I really like your choice of b/w. Nice work. |

Fallby bongoComment: I've been thinking about doing a falling leaf shot this fall, but never followed through - your image just might be the inspiration I need. Nicely done, and a very creative idea. |
