nice portrait here, I'm not sure everything was intentional here but I like the grainy look, the genuine and simple smile works well, composition is right. Interesting elements: sunhat, gloves and sweater, child and candy, light and shade. Not sure this really ties in with in the beginning but nice anyhow.
