wowee! I never expected such cool comments on this shot. This is the groom from last nights wedding. The bridal party went to Chicago today..for the game. His shoes were especially cute when he and the bride were kneeling at the alter of the st louis cathedral!

yes, the fisheye. This pic is the perfect expression of both the bride and myself and how we were feeling that day. We were both dealing with our communities being hit by hurricanes. Her wedding is in Lake Charles, LA. She was my one surviving wedding in Oct after Katrina blew through. Then Rita came along and disrupted Lake Charles...two weeks before her wedding! She actually likes this picture. I told her I did this one for me...but that I do think it is the one image that captured the truth of the day.

thank you for all of the comments, compliments and words of concern. I never expected this shot to do so well. :) Unfortunately, I dont really get to appreciate having a ribbon right now. My world has been reduced to the reality of homelessness and wondering where i might hang out in the process of rebuilding.
