Yes. We adopted her at an animal shelter that was giving shots and spaying a batch of feral kittens. They have to clip their ears in order to know if they have treated them after placing them back into the wild. We managed to talk our way into having them let us take her. ;) Now, she is just spoiled and clingy and sweet. |

now and into the futureby grigrigirlComment: Originally posted by AP: this is a lovely shot that is rife interpretive potential. I'd be curious to know whether it is staged? |
It is staged in the sense that I had the couple stand at this spot during their engagement session. Some things cant be staged. I had no idea the older couple was walking hand in hand in the background until I started editing. Are their emotions during this moment staged? I did not instruct them to appreciate each other, to be in love, to close their eyes, to hug or for him to place his head on hers. Life happens and I snap the shutter anyway. |

Christina by grigrigirlComment: its post.
I willed the veil to fly!
It was perfectly windy and sunny that day...mixed with a perfectly lovely bride with a perfectly long veil. Was just one of those times when all of the pieces fit. |

The Jezebel Spiritby grigrigirlComment: Originally posted by JPR: Wow. The slideshow was incredible. I would wear a wedding dress if you would take photos of me. |
Oh my god...thats a great idea! I swear i will find a groom to wear the dress! If you want to come down for a shoot and be my model groom for a "drag the dress" shoot..just let me know! ;) |

Kissby grigrigirlComment: Originally posted by alexjack: I really like this too, imo the crop tended to make it hard to find the subject. A crop just below the sign would have been more effective - again imo. I think all of your stuff is amazing though,

Edited to suggest a crop just above the sign :) |
in my opinion, cropping the top out ruins a certain graphic balance. The title is there to help you find the subject.
Is there a desaturation rule that tells us we need to leave the subject in color? I would like to know where the majority of people are learning these rules. And then...I would like to never learn there. |

to Ashesby JPRComment: This is some cool shit you are doing. I for one have always loved your work. Thanks for the comment on my pic..i liked it. :) I too have thought it would be nice to join a team because it would give me more motivation to enter challenges and force me to find something different during the shoots that I do for work. But, then I realized that scores would matter and I would be a detriment to any team. Pretty soon my latest gig of a personal side challenge will be up and I'll have to come up with a new one to keep me entertained. Shame really, because ive enjoyed the subject of my current side. ;) |

Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!by grigrigirlComment: It was taken at the botanical garden. Her legs look goofy because she was landing on them after jumping into the air. Scores never cease to surprise me. I think this was over rated. |
