The right side of the image seems to border on a very mid-level grey, so that side of the image doesn't carry the impact that the left side of the photo does. If you maybe pushed that middle-grey a more towards dark or light, that side of the image might not seem to walk the fence. The child's expression is wonderful, though. Great job capturing the softness of the left side of the photo while still keeping such high detail.

I love the contrast between the ground and the sky, but I wish it were emphasized a little more -- i.e. have more of that dark, anchoring ground at the bottom.

Greenish yellow highlights on a black and white picture shouldn't be allowed. But I'd be interested to hear what kind of lens you used to get this close up to the moom with such detail.

I think the black and white really makes this photo, and I can't even put a finger on why. I'd say you've certainly accomplished the challenge task. I like the slight graininess and very subtle lighting in this shot. Great job.

Why'd you chose sepia for this shot? I'd have to assume because the other objects in the image were distracting, but I'd really like to see the bold colors of her dress (if they were bold! :)

I really like the subject of this photo, but the image itself seems a little off -- even a little grainy. I'm not sure if this is just the camera or your settings you were using.

I really feel like the image is off balance. Just about everyone weighs down the right side of the image, and the crop is also heavily to the right side of the image. I'm guessing this was to get the entire shadow of the woman on the left. I can definitely understand that. Maybe if you were able to take another shot with yourself placed a little further to the right..
