Trasparent Focusby B3DComment: This shot works really well as an abstract. The colors are amazing, though I'm guessing they were done with post-editing. Nice job. |

Liberty And Justice by jmsetzlerComment: Yes, we all know you're gonna win -- nicely done, John :) My only complaint is that the lighting seems uneven. That is, the white of the background flag at the bottom left seems darker than that at the top right. Could be my eyes.. |

Human Tableby Photo JimComment: Do you think maybe you should be behind the camera for some of your shots? As the photographer 'n all... |

H2 Ohhhby crisa58Comment: I like offset framing, but this one just seems random and doesn't really complement the image -- especially cutting off the red ball. |

Float - Out of its Elementby bdshortComment: I think your chosen subject had potential, but it just looks scratchy and dirty in this lighting. The board at the bottom is also pretty distracting. |

Fruit Dropsby DezComment: I wish this image was brighter and more colorful, because it has lots of potential. Did you set this up on top of a light? |

Summer in Venice(ian Blinds)by mcrochipComment: The very middle-grey color of the blinds in this shot I think brings the overall effectiveness down -- pulling the vivid color of the background closer to very bland tones. This is surely largely because of the material of the shades, but I think maybe playing with different lighting coming from either in front of or behind the shades might have given you a better color... either lighter and more transparent or a little darker, emphasizing the contrast. |
