'Red and white' goes for the blueby nico_blueComment: Another great chance for side-by-side comparisons during a challenge. Your Remie tribute is very well done, with vibrant colors, and the added bonus of using your own colors. I'm bumping this one to an 8 because of the vivid colors and the way the whites, just short of being blown, merge so well together with pencil and background. Well done! |

Red and White (Remie #4621)by docpjvComment: Another excellent chance for a side-by-side comparison. This is an excellent tribute to Remie's original. I get the sense that your lights were not quite as powerful as his (maybe trying to avoid blowing out the whites?). The result is that your reds are not quite as vibrant either, but it's still an excellent photo, and one you should be proud of. 7. |

Rippling Treeby Bear_MusicComment: I've never seen this pulled off quite like you present here. The water surface looks almost metallic, and is in razor-sharp focus, as are the reflected trees. Quite amazing, really! |

Homage to Jacko & Rackat by hughletherenComment: Stunning. The splash is bisected perfectly by the color-band. This photo captures the feel of illumination very well. I'd love to see if a print of this would also be able to communicate that radiance. Wonderfully done. Congrats! |

Secondary primary glassby JinjitComment: Beautifully clear and pristine primary color sections. The lines and curves are very appealing and the symmetry is perfect. This photo is a feast for the eye. |

Flirtaceous (Color Studio Portrait)by GolferDDSComment: One of the most hilarious parodies I've seen on the site. I saw this the first morning of the challenge and literally almost spat coffee all over my monitor. I don't know who your model is, but he is perfect. The blackened tooth and the facial expression are so comically over the top that I can't stand it. Awesome entry to the challenge! |
