Interesting shot and certainly meets the challenge. Well done for seeking out and composing for the symmetry of the refection.
It is sometimes hard to find a photograph in the every day (which is what made this challenge a hard one to participate in. I didn't submit an entry!)

There is a old piece of photography advice that states. 'Frame the shot how you feel is right. Then take a step further forward and take the picture'
This is good advice a lot of the time and will really help add impact to your shots.. give it a go next time you are out and about.

This image needs a little more impact IMO. I'd even go as far as cropping the top and bottom and making the aspect Landscape...
It did not score that high, perhaps because the park element although present is not the main subject element.

This is an interesting flower, not one that I recognise..

It is just about sharp enough in the right places to work, although it might have benefited from a little more DOF.

It didn't score well in this challenge and although it didn't pick up any DNMC comments I'm sure the low voters
had this in mind when scoring... i.e. Unless it screams "Park" it will suffer in the votes.

I hope the challenge encouraged you to go out into your local park and look for shots with your camera... which is one
of the aims of the community..

Firstly, good job for entering this special challenge. Great that Bear_Music commented on your entry.

Interesting use of some of the lesser known tools in the Photoshop arsenal.. and your finished result is
far more interesting than the source file.. so success :-)

Great shot... I've been to the spot a few times and this is well crafted and perfectly timed.
The golden glow in the sky compliments the strong blues.
