This is an outstanding portrait and the subdued lighting works really well. There's something kind of odd about here head - it looks almost flat like a poster flush against a wall. Maybe it's the angle and perspective of the shot, so I guess tilting her head down a bit might help with that effect. But overall, this is a really beautiful shot - great job.

Nice composition of a simple subject. I think this photo would benefit from a bit more contrast, though it does look pretty good in subdued tones as well. And I think the border you chose actually does a good job of enhancing the photo, rather than detracting from it.
