I'm sure the size has been mentioned. I think a little more depth of field to see the whole rope would have helped. I do like the color shift/lighting of the shot.

Ha! Faved it so you can't remove it. I still love what you did to it.

As symmetrical as you tried to achieve, the top chip set is slanted the opposite of the bottom chip set. The dice are not evenly spaced. The concept and execution are good except as noted. I do like the lighting and agree the contrast could have been boosted a bit.

Makes me want to be on the boat. I like the balance between the boat and the sunset.

This was taken 11 Jul 2006 at about 4 pm. I'm not sure exactly where it was but I think it was northeast of San Diego. I was flying back to Oklahoma City.

Great capture with a slower lense! F stop and shutter speed would help! Having to shoot with a similar lense this must have been forgiving light for you. Once again, good capture.

Good capture! The lighting is perfect under other than normal/tough conditions.

I like the composition, but maybe if you had tried the shot a little earlier/later in the day. This would have reduced some of the harsh shadows!

edit: added both ends of the day!

Great use of DOF, the only thing that I think would have made this better would have been to have the top of the window frame also. Not always possible if it's a 6 foot window. Great pic.
